From Sakhalin to Stockholm — and what I'm building now.
For fifteen years I've worked in capital projects — energy, chemicals, energy transition. Sakhalin to Houston, then Moscow, now Stockholm. Each move was the next logical step up: bigger title, bigger budget, more complexity. I've delivered up to €6.5 billion in EPC/EPCM scope, and I currently work on Europe's first green steel plant.
Along the way I've sat on both sides of the hiring table. 600+ interviews. 40+ senior leaders placed. That side of the work — helping people find the right next move — turned into a Russian-language consulting practice years ago. I'm now building the English-speaking version of it: faster, sharper, and powered by the AI tools I ship in the open.
When I'm not in projects or career work, I'm into ultra running — 100K races, mountain trails. I live in Stockholm with my wife, our daughter, and our dog Chuck.
